@west.coast.parano: The Mission Inn began it's existence as an adobe boarding house in 1876. It was converted to a full service hotel in the early 1900s and the owner, Frank Miller, continued adding on to it until his death in 1935. After multiple owners and restorations, it stands today as the centerpiece of the city of Riverside California. Rumors of shadow figures and other paranormal activity have persisted since the Mission Inn was originally built. Nowadays,it is largely believed that the top floor of the hotel is visited by the spirits of its original owners, Frank and his daughter Alice Miller. Reports of apparitions, disembodied voices, lights turning on and off by themselves, and phantom knocking are just some of the activity that guests and hotel employees have experienced. We have had the opportunity to investigate the Mission Inn on several occasions and it was always a treat. Apart from it being one of the most beautifully designed buildings we have ever investigated, we could almost always expect to experience something unexplainable at the Mission Inn. #paranormal #ghosthunting #hauntedhotel #spooky
