Yes my new dentist asked what I do for work and if I just came from work and I lied. I purposely wear business casual clothing to important appointments so that people continue to respect me and think I’m a contributing part of society😅 I’m not discussing my lay off with anyone

But why are people so obsessed with what people do for work? It’s like the first question someone asks when you haven’t seen them in a while. “So what are you doing for work?” Small talk? Yeah I guess but 9 times out of 10, they’re using that information to judge you. 😂
