I’ll say I was kind of shocked at the pure glee others took in putting me down as soon as I turned 30. Even from my parents. It was a lot of older people irl actually which surprised me bc I thought it would be the younger people in my life. No, it was people around my age and older. Really strange experience. It would make sense if I was one of those young people who made fun of people’s ages but I legit never did, in fact I defended them. Those same older people turned on me and seemed thrilled about it. On my actual birthday too. Just insults lmao.

My parents tried making me feel terrible about getting stretch marks, acne and body hair the minute I hit puberty. They really wanted me to be ashamed and insecure because of it but nope, didnt work, I dont care about my looks
