@livenowfox: Officials confirmed Monday that eight people aboard a U.S. military jet that crashed in Southern California's Mojave Desert were killed. The crash involving an Air Force B-52 Stratofortress happened at 11:20 a.m. local time upon takeoff at Edwards Air Force Base in Kern County. Aerial images from SkyFOX showed fire crews at the scene and a plume of smoke on the runway.
