I agree with Mom Goth. I thought I was Spooky Girl, but I'm 50 and tired. Mom Goth, rapidly approaching Grandma Goth, feels more right. Black Hokas are a staple.

As a Brazilian, I think I can say I'm not a goth girl but maybe a tropical goth or tropical spooky girl because I wear black but please do not cover any area of my arms it's usually too hot for that

Mom goth diet- coffee or coffee infused beverages habitat - school pick up line cry - Depeche mode covers we are tired. but we still wear all black and for major events we bring out "the old ways". the teachers compliment our looks and comment "we see where 'the kids' gets her style from!" our mother still thinks it's a phase and we live out our goth teen dreams by letting our kids be as Gothic as they want.

I think this needs to be rebranded to alt. Emo and e girl aren’t goth (like you mentioned). Spooky girls can be goth but they aren’t all goth. A few comments mentioned scene, which isn’t goth. Goth does have a lot of its own branches, like romantic, gothabilly, cybergoth, etc. I think emo, grunge, goth, and scene all stemmed from punk?
