This is so so true I’ve stayed within my budget yes I haven been able to get an authentic but in not over here saying “why do they charge so much for a doll” cause that’s just not what it is I plan to try and attempt to sculpt my own doll most likely a vinyl at some point but yes I’ve stayed within my budget and I have replicas and I love them just as much and I feel horrible because these people sell such beautiful kits and artwork someday I’ll afford one I do have a Ashton drake dolls I have 2 but yes you are so right I love all my dolls I’m planning on weighting a not authentic

Some people don’t respect the art enough to pay thousands just like anything else, what matters to some might not matter to others. I would pay for authenticity and art , because it’s more than just a “doll” to me it would be a part of my family, I would treat it like my very own baby and would pay for that realism , personally & when I hear that it irritates me because those are the same people that will pay 4,000 -6,000 for a luxury bag . This is a luxury most cannot afford. Yes , the haves and have nots .
