Remove the sinigang mix and put green young tamarind instead ( u can buy it at the frozen section of island pacific market) and your soup will be 10x more sarap! ❤️

Quantification :

Every household in the Philippines has different versions of Sinigang. The main flavor is sour and savory. I don't prefer garlic in MY Sinigang. To me the flavor clashes. I tried with ginger and tumeric. I also experimented with different sour flavor vegetables, like rhubarb, tomatillos, kamias, never lemon or calamansi. But I believe this should be the National Dish of the Phillippines. Also experimented with vegetables, I tried brocoli but it does not work for me. I tried Ube, which gives it a creamy texture but very earthy flavor. Taro is okay but Yam is the best!
