if it WERE a pots episode, she would’ve been very sure. people with pots don’t just not rmemeber their episodes if they’re seizing. they remember how they got there at least. like she would’ve been very apologetic and more remorseful if it were pots

I have pots diagnose 4/5 years now never once did I drive on my bad days or crashed in a wall or in to anyone!!! YOU CAN FEEL BEFORE YOU GO IN TO A FIT!!!!!!!

I have POTS and multiple other conditions and when I started a new med I got in my car to drive and I felt weird almost like sleep walking so I pulled into the nearest building and sat there for four hours waiting for the med to clear my system before driving

some ppl don’t know they have pots till they pass out. i found out passing out while biking. i thought everyone felt dizzy when they stood up because when i told doctors they said it’s common when you grow and told me to drink water.

I have orthostatic hypotension (its like POTS but its when blood pools because of poor circulation) and diabetes, WHEN YOURE ABOUT TO PASS OUT YOU KNOW YOU PHYSICALLY FEEL IT

I'm not sure what the situation is or anything like that, but as someone who also has POTS, I will say that POTS effects everyone differently, and just because you caught your symptoms in time to pull over doesn't mean someone else could also do the same. There are plenty of cases where people with POTS just genuinely pass out without even feeling it before hand, so long story short, not everybody is able to catch themselves when things get dangerous. POTS is also an umbrella term for many different illnesses all rooting back to it, so you also really don't know what kind of POTS said person had or what other health conditions they had, medications they were put on, etc. For someone who also has POTS, you should know this. You can't just assume they could have stopped themselves; you should do more research on the illness you also have.
