This helps conserve oxygen and prolong your breath hold! 🌊 Ocean Visualization 🧠 Separate your mind into two layers — recognize that your thoughts are only the waves on top, while your core awareness is the calm, expansive ocean beneath. During your breath hold, thoughts may arise about discomfort, stress, or worry. Practice non-attachment, allowing these thoughts to flow by like a passing wave. TRAINING EXERCISE ➡️ Relaxation Table Plus 🫁 Perform 8 sequential breath holds (lying down, on dry land). Hold just past your urge to breathe (e.g., until your second or third contraction). 🌊 As thoughts arise, use the Ocean Visualization exercise to remain calm. Allow your thoughts to flow by like a passing wave. Then take proper recovery breaths, re-start your relaxation, and begin your next breath hold when you are ready. 🌀Relaxation and connection to your body are the goals for this exercise, so please do not use a timer, stopwatch, phone, music, or other forms of distraction.
