@andsalsares: these 3 techniques will help you memorize ANYTHING 10x quicker (it's what i used to get top of my class). 1. active recall methods passive learning (like highlighting and taking notes) trains you to just recognize information in front of you, and not how to actually use it. you just cram information into your brain, not pull it out which is what active recall does. here's a few methods to try it out yourself: a. Closed book blurting - read a section for 5-10 minutes, then "close the book" and write down everything you can remember on a blank paper. b. spaced repetition flashcards: use software that shows you flashcards you struggle with more frequently, optimizing retrival strength. c. cornell notes - divide your page into three sections, a small section for the summary on the bottom, a small section for questions in the left, and a big section for general notes. 2. Feynman technique take a complex topic and explain it, either out loud or to someone, and try to make it as simple as possible. when you hit a wall and can't explain a part simply, this is your "knowledge gap," focus a lot on that specific part as that will help you memorize more efficiently (alongside the active recall from "teaching.") 3. spaced repetition (1-3-7) do NOT cram whenever you can. your brain thrives on making neural connections, which are developed bit by bit in order to store them in long-term memory. review using 1-3-7 technique—review 1 day after learning, 3 days after that, and then 7 days after that. this will LOCK it into your brain. i'm a valedictorian building a producticity app for ambitious students, if you're interested, feel free to follow!

honors student here, in written works the best absolute method is 20% effort 80% outcome, you read the topic/lesson, write the keywords, and write it in your vocabulary (use your own words or tweak it) it helps alot in memorization aswell
