@danihardy7: My own little version of house hunters international 🏠 we didn’t see pictures of these apartments before hand- just went into a recommended real estate office & told them our preferences. Then we were off to look at some places ✨ #househunters #Vlog #movingabroad #pcs

we live here. our apartment is the same layout but more traditional. we love it and it’s on the base school bus route which was a huge plus for us.

Hope this helps! 😊 In Korea, apartments usually have a separate monthly maintenance fee as well, which is normally around ₩100,000–₩200,000, so that’s something to keep in mind too. Your total monthly costs would usually be rent + electricity + water + maintenance fees. For a place that size, if three people are living there, I’d expect the electricity and water bills combined to be around ₩150,000–₩200,000 a month. I’m not sure where the apartment is located, but ₩1.8 million per month sounds pretty expensive. If it’s in Seoul though, that’s actually a reasonable price.

If you’re getting LQA your lease covers utilities to an extent. As long as you don’t go over board you’ll be fine. I have my AC on year round and heat all winter and I never went over the allotment.

I checked this same apartment out when we were house hunting . We loved the size but felt it was better for a bigger family. I def understand the trauma of Italy utilities from living there for 3+ years. but the utilities here are not going to be anywhere near what we used to pay in Italy!!! So much cheaper. Check out the houses! So much more options now since it’s no longer a short tour.
