Disagree. Played with the wide body version of my Engage hybrid and returned it because I didn't feel any advantage. But, I did miss several shots because it was 1/2“ shorter.

I use a J2CR long handle and the head is exactly the same as the vp’s bloom widebody shape but with a longer handle lol I love it for sure

Nico, I’m not ready for this truth. I’m gonna stick to my long paddles for another two years then I can beat ur four year record before I switch. But if I DO, gimme a recommendation at 100 to 150 price point. I’m not experimenting at more for something I may not like. Also just a red player

I bought my first hybrid paddle and felt the weight was so much different than my elongated paddles. It felt so top heavy and made it more difficult to dink/slow game. Wide body….i just can’t at least yet 😂

I have at least three to five points every day where the ball goes off the edge of my paddle and if I had that extra 1/3 inch the ball would have gone in

Not a smaller sweet spot, different shape sweet spot. It was never about reach, more so about how you’re used to gauging contact point. That is materially different
