@devinedwelling: I’m 46. If I had to start over in my 40s, these are the first 3 things I’d do. 1. Quit drinking. If you’re starting over, you need clarity. You’re not sipping rosé on the beach in a secure marriage with a dual income and zero worries. You’re building a new life. New chapters require a clear mind, clear decisions, and a clear vision. Quitting alcohol changed everything for me. My physical health improved. My mental health improved. My relationships improved. Most importantly, I became someone I could trust. 2. Create a vision. One of the most powerful exercises I did was imagining myself one year in the future at a party celebrating an accomplishment. What are you celebrating? How do you look? How do you feel? What are you wearing? Who is there? What does your life look like? What kind of woman walks into that room? Get crystal clear on who she is, then start showing up as her today. 3. Move your body every day. Movement is medicine. You don’t need the perfect workout plan. You don’t need to spend hours in the gym. Go for a walk. Ride a bike. Lift some weights. Dance in your kitchen. Move your body every single day. The goal isn’t just to change your body. The goal is to build the energy, confidence, and mindset to create a life you love.
