Tbh I've always felt like Rick was just planning to dip with Morty before all of the riddles lol. He prolly killed Worldender in part because it would force Morty to leave with him and admit the Vindicators are lame. So Noob Noob was the answer because he didn't think that Morty would be there to begin with. Only reason they were stuck there is Rick forgetting his portal gun. If you think about it, it doesn't really make sense for Rick to risk Morty's ass like that. Cuz later in the same season (the toxins episode), we find out that Rick deeply cares about Morty whether he likes it or not. So it wouldn't make much sense for even drunk Rick to design the puzzles with the possibility of shredding Morty to pieces lol.
