You can never ever know if a business is profitable without trying it, you can analyze as much as you want but you will never be 100% sure, so the best thing to do is if there is atleast 40% chance of it working go for it, if you fail you knew it,its not surprise but most important thing is you need to be willing to risk.

1. Are you willing to work more than 40 hours a week and live low for a few years while you get established? 2. What are your margins? What is your risk? 3. Do you understand business taxes, liability, payroll, etc. 4. Is this something you are actually good at or do you just love it? If you just love it and can’t make money, it’s just a hobby. 5. Try to do it with the least amount of help from a bank. Interest and debt can get you in a hole quickly, depends on what your business is. Make sure you create a separate checking account for your business to keep track of income and expenses.

Bake/desert goods. 1. Most people are unable to bake, so I will bake/create homemade goodies. 2. Sales to my company and human gathering. Capital gains/losses. Also I like to add: not quit your job immediately and don’t expect the business to jump immediately. It takes time.
