Actually, all you have to do is go home put a paper towel on the top of the container, turn it upside down and store it in your refrigerator that way. Water should never touch your berries until you’re ready to eat them.

mold is primarily formed at the points of contact between them. as someone who worked produce the bottom is the least likely spot for the mold to start. so unless you have a way for the fruit to suspend themselves away from each other like magnets, this changes nothing. it's just the fact you cleaned and dried them.

I even put a napkin on the bottom of the first bowl and sit the slotted one on top. I change it out as needed. It pulls so much moisture out.
