Kia Ora, I love this kōrero. I have worked along side recovering addicts and I would like to put a few ideas here. Some of your kōrero might like to be targeted to: * Helping identify gambling related spending patterns before they become a crisis. (When and why does it become harmful) * Provide budgeting support specifically tailored to gambling harm. * Suggest different services in different areas of Nz, if you know any. These would help people who watch your videos who may have a gambling issue. (Some whanau aren’t aware that it’s an issue) so educating too. Just some whakaaro x

My gambling addiction started at 13 years old. And trying to give up was so hard. you can sign out of places so you can't go in but then you turn to online gambling and doing it in secret. I even tried gambling helplines councilling and so much but nothing worked. I had to deal with the trauma deep within the mental breakdown almost took me out....Thank Ihoa so much.... Gambling for me was just a bandaid for my trauma. But only through Jesus iv been set free. ☺️❤️

Well where does the money actually go if it's not going to the people?? I would think it goes to organised crime - gambling is an international money laundering system so I would speak to families/organisations who fund these kind of activities. Not to report them or get any one into danger, simply to ask them to give back to community or help support initiatives that show results. Kiakaha I am sure there are still good people in this type of industry looking to support recovery with all their putea.

The whakapapa of addiction is where the fruit lies, why do we gamble smoke goon disassociate u healthy coping mechanisms. If we can address the root then maybe we have a chance. Love the heart in this video but the system as it stands wants us all in survival mode.

it's a nasty addiction, been in my life since pokies came to the pubs in the late 80's? whenever it was it's.followed me through to my 40s the only way for me if you personally want to stop you ban yourself from ALL access online and in pubs , once you have no options left you can only try and go up from there, there can be all the support in the world but if we don't take it into our own hands not much will change
