what I don't understand is why. why is it so loud. I have worked on data centers (electrician) and never have they made any noise, just solance from the outside. what are they doing so wrong that it's making any noise at all let alone loud like this

I’m following a ton of these stories bc in my town in Ohio, they’re building multiple grids and 1mil square foot building, but are saying it will be a Kimberly Clark manufacturing plant but Foxconn down the road is starting to manufacture data center parts. People go to the city meetings and one city has a temporary block but I just think there’s a lot of misinformation they’re giving us and your vid is our future - I’m curious how they introduced this in your town. Also thank you for all your research in this

What really pisses you off is that this is entirely unnecessary. Data centres are old tech that we know how to do and do well. This is because these new ones being built are cheap junk.

I’m not sure how accurate this is, but I saw someone saying that they could be a lot quieter but it’s a little more expensive to make it that way so they skipped it 🙄 I get migraines and this would be devastating for my health 😭

The cooling systems don’t make that much noise. Those are gas fire turbines.
