@justahumblecook: This is what I made for my wife as her personal chef. she requested salmon ochazuke for dinner! Ochazuke is really just green tea or a dashi that’s poured over rice with whatever toppings you have at home. But I like it served with seared salmon or unagi. Seasoned simply with salt, into a hot pan with oil to get a nice sear and cooked to medium. My house kitchen has one of those terrible microwave hoods on top of the stove so you know that my entire house smelled like fish after this. I thinly sliced dried seaweed as a garnish, removed the kombu from the rice, fluffed it up, and got ready to plate! Each bowl gets some fresh steamed white rice, lots of green onions, seared salmon on top, seaweed, more green onions because my wife realy loves the stuff, my homemade furikake and the green tea dash poured right into the bowl. A little dollop of wasabi, and thats dinner! It’s light, homey, healthy, and so good. #cooking #food #privatechef #personalchef #howtocook

LMAO is it odd that the idea of needing nutritional value for things that are added specifically just for flavour is a wild concept to me?? cause that’s a wild concept to me.

This looks so good and healthy! Also there's enough nutrients in the seaweed to replace the green onion slime😅
