About the version of yourself you've spent years trying to become. Somewhere along the way, we were taught that changing our minds meant we lacked commitment. That sticking it out was always the admirable thing to do. That if we'd already invested enough time, money or years into something, we owed it our future too. I don't believe that anymore. I think one of the bravest things you can do is admit that something no longer feels right, even if it once did. You're allowed to outgrow people. You're allowed to outgrow dreams. You're allowed to outgrow the life you once desperately wanted. You're allowed to start over at 26. Or 36. Or 56. Or 76. Because this is your life. And nobody else has to live it but you.
