I'm not a graphic designer, but Brand design has steps and processes, not just pumping out cool looking flyers gang😂 creating harmonious design language for a brand that is scalable and adjustable across merchandise and different platforms is not as easy as y'all think it is.

I can agree with you on one thing - AI is just automation & makes work more efficient but If designing a flyer is your idea of the full extent of what creatives do, then you’re already starting from a flawed understanding of the profession.

It will absolutely replace junior designers who rely on basic templates and canva flyers, and it's going to grass out those low-budget clients who demand endless revisions for nuts, they'll naturally shift to automated tools. This is what will permanently separate small businesses from big brands. When the market is flooded with generic, algorithmic content, a thoughtful human touch becomes a premium luxury. Brands understand that deep strategy and identity can't be automated, and that's exactly why they will continue to invest in human designers while small companies blend into the digital noise.

There's Ai tools on autocad for architects, but you can't call yourself an architect because you use these tools. You can create blueprints the you might think are amazing, but to the trained eye it'll be slop. Just like in designing, to professionals it's slop and when slop accumulates in the market, even to the clients and laymen they'll start to notice gems from slop!

Ai is a great assistant for designing, but it cannot completely be relied on to handle the entire creative process. Ai will speed things up but it definitely won't replace a seasoned designer. The problem is people who don't understand graphics design will reduce it to just producing flyers and posters. For as long one doesn't have an artistic and creative eye no amount of prompting can match a designer who knows the principles and fundamentals that are the foundation of design.
