Hack I learned as a military kid. After 12:00 just subtract 2. 13:00 would be 1:00 pm because 3-2 is 1. 15:00 would be 3:00 pm because 5-2 is 3. 17:00 would be 5:00 pm because 7-2 is 5.

I made the decision to pursue healthcare at 16 and I immediately switched my phone and car to military time. It took me a minute, but I passively memorized it over the years. 😁
