So, I am going to teach you exactly how to answer, “Tell me about yourself.”   👇🏼There’s no “right answer” to this interview question BUT there is a framework you should always follow.     📝But first some rules: 1️⃣ Never get personal in a job interview. Do NOT talk about your husband and your kids. ✅Instead focus on your jobs, accomplishments and goals. 2️⃣ A job interview is just a set of questions about you, and you are going to tell them a bunch of stories about yourself. ✅Practice telling great stories.   Ok, here’s the framework-   PAST- Always start with the past. Because when you tell a good story you start at the beginning. And what is your beginning? How did you get into this career? Why did you go to college? What did you go to college for? Did you have cool/interesting internships?   PRESENT- The core of your “Tell me about yourself” answer should be what you’re doing currently that would qualify you for this position. Talk about your last few jobs, big wins and chief responsibilities.   FUTURE- And the end of you answer is why you are interviewing for this role. Why do you want to work here? What can you do for me? Show your enthusiasm for the interview, “Really excited to learn more today about this opportunity”   🎯And bonus points if you end your interview answers with questions.
