If you going to post costs like these, can you please show the whole story. The weight in, the time on farm, the costs of fertiliser, feed, time etc. Youve only included the bills you payed, not the real inputs. Like for me this year, 60k fertiliser, 12k seeds, 6k herbicides, 22k governmentcharges and rates, 29k insurance, 9k fuel, and so on.

She also didn’t mention that $15k is then dispersed onto wages, mortgages, untitles, fuels, vehicle and machinery maintenance, cost for future livestock purchases, feed and hay for other animals. $15 is not much at all.

But when there’s a drought or a flood you’ll get a govt payout whether you need it or not that you won’t pay back when the drought breaks. Plus you’ll not pay any tax because farmers are always in the “red” for ever but really the money will be elsewhere
