this doesn't happen in actuality, he's in the trial space which those are made from his memories, RBD warps time and not parallel universes. Still tho, seeing those alternate scenarios were awesome especially how badly they affected subaru

So RBD doesnt create a new timeline it actually resets the word back to the checkpoint there’s no actual answer but Aldebaran does mention something *SPOILERS* In the webnovel Arc 7 chapter 60 after the chaosflame disaster Subaru is suspected to be dead (he isnt) and Al confirms that Subaru isnt dead because 1. He makes the remark that Subaru is a hard guy to kill 2. Makes a statement with this “Al: [The world hasn’t been destroyed. That’s my basis.]” Thanks to al and his Knowledge of RBD lets us know that every time Subaru dies Satella might actually just erase and re create the world

wrong, author already confirmed it, whenever he dies he doesn't jump to another timeline, it rewinds it, so don't sweat it, by the time he dies the world stops and rewinds.

I remember seeing a theory that was suggested in the if routes that when subaru dies, he may stay dead in each universe leaving everyone to mourn him as he returns by death in another timeline
