HOW TO - S/A LOW PULLEY CABLE CURL 💪🏽 A great movement to target the bicep through the lengthened position. Here are some of the take away cues: • Avoid moving the shoulder forward to use slight shoulder flexion though the movement, instead keep shoulders pinned back and fixed, focus on driving forearms up to the bicep. • Since we are biasing the biceps here in the lengthened, really pause at the bottom of the movement, flex the triceps and feel the stretch in through the biceps instead of selling yourself short and not following through with stimulating the bis through the stretched position. • Cable height - adjust the height of the cable at the point that gives YOU the best stretch through the intended target muscle, personally I prefer the pulley set at the bottom of the stack, however other individuals find a slightly higher setting more desirable to target the bicep through this movement, find what works best for you and nail it.
