I am against doing anything that the creator is explicitly not okay with. They’re still real people and if they express being uncomfortable with something then we should encourage people to stop doing it. It shouldn’t be treated as “normal fandom culture” that same thing comes to what Ive seen a pattern of with dfab people being sexualised in and outside the mc community and though dmab get that treatment aswell just more rarely if anyone expresses that they aren’t comfortable with being sexualised then it shouldn’t be again- treated as “not that deep” or “just how the internet is” especially when it comes to women/dfab who just happen to exist in these communities, they want to enjoy the game to, create stories and art we shouldn’t ignore sth just because its “normal on the internet” we shouldn’t shun those who do it more explicitly and not encourage that behaviour (women/dfab in general are treated badly especially in gaming communities sadly)
