Crying Corner Sanctuary :
Sometimes, people think that "overthinking" is the worst thing to ever exist in us, in people, in love, in friendships and family.
Yes. It is the worst thing that can ever happen to me. I AM the worst thing. I was made to THINK, and people ask me "Why can't it be simple?" Well that's because sometimes I can't think of a simple concept, a simple comfort, a simple advice, a simple routine, a simple idea, a simple expression of emotion or maybe even a simple purpose on what I should do? It's so foreign to me.
Yet. Everything is slowly becoming clearer. I want to tell you this throughout my journey as a person who let go, as a person who chose to stay, as a person who left them.
I was the epitome of a scumbag since I was too "much" and I wasn't able to be their "comfort" when needed, I was quiet when I needed to be heard. I am just that type of person who decided to solo everything because it wasn't by the fact that I hadn't had anyone to trust, but it was the fact that why should I trust them to stay when I, Myself, can't do the same for my own? So I started wishing.
I wished for the fact that I was strong enough to be able to handle any adversaries that attacks me mentally, I wish that happiness may reach to every person that I have interacted find an even better level of happiness in another person than what I could provide for them, and my last wish was to understand myself and my overthinking tendencies.
My wish came true, especially my last wish made me actually learnt something properly in my miserable day to day life. And I learnt that overthinking isn't the worst thing actually. But the type of overthinking that has no faith in the other person or yourself, the fact that you're scared of yourself more than the strength of your relationship with friends, partners or family. So I will give you the advice that molded me over the years
Overthinking is not a problem, losing yourself and tearing your own well being is. So live your life, find good people, overthink, but never lose yourself in the process as the quote goes "Thinking is a process of change, not being shackled in chains." Thanks for reading and sorry for the long rant from a crusty old man :))
