I quoted someone who was very rude about my high rates and then she wanted to book me months later and I lied and said sorry already booked that date, I rather have the day off then work for someone who spoke to me that way months prior 😅😅😅

100% girl! I felt the biggest imposter syndrome when I raised my prices last year but when you are that insanely talented and experienced, people are more than willing to pay for that! If anything, I think the more you charge the more you get clients that are aligned with you! And who don’t complain about your prices. And it anything, these prices are the industry standard for our level of expertise and talent xx

As a consumer, just because they are out of the price range for you does not mean they are for everyone. Just because you wouldn’t pay that much for that service, does not mean that other people won’t and that they shouldn’t charge that much. More people need to understand that, these services are a luxury and if you can’t afford them that’s okay but it’s not the suppliers fault. Same with hair and nails etc. makeup is also expensive and it’s also a full day ordeal, between packing, transport, set up, your work, pack up and then cleaning after that’s a lot of your time.
