I HATE sticking out and drawing attention to myself, but I want to start dressing in ways that make me happy. Seeing people say that dressing different is “attention seeking” makes me so bummed out. I would be 1000 times happier to stroll the streets in my dream wardrobe completely invisible to others than to be seen. If I dress out of the norm, it’s for ME 🥹💖

I have always hated when people accuse alternative people of wearing their fashions for attention, to me it insinuates that there is no way these people actually like these clothes so it must be for attention! 😒

So relatable I think like people always think dressing alternative is a cry for attention It’s really not i having AuDHD, fashion is literally a form of stimming for me. honestly it’s a creative protective, and artistic outlet ... basically wearable art that grounds me somuch. as an alternative clothing designer wearing unique pieces i make and design brings me pure joy. It’s my way of rejecting the rigid, exhausting expectations Western society pushes on women the psychological truth is that for neurodivergent people like myself, masking and conforming to standard societal molds feels like an emotional cage and breaking out of that isn’t about inviting the public gaze it’s about finding personal peace.... I don't dress for anyone elses approval trust I do it because it makes me happy and I'm not going to apologize for choosing my own joy over someone else's comfort zone.
