It's high time we even created an MTTD unit of the army and bring them to the Accra - Kumasi road for 1month and see if accidents won't reduce drastically. Discipline go come that road fast,in as much as the road not really good but the indiscipline is very high. The army is traditionally associated with discipline, authority, and order. Their presence on the roads can instill fear and command instant respect from drivers who might otherwise ignore police officers. Soldiers can therefore serve as a strong deterrent to reckless behavior and support law enforcement.
