@digestwithdan: My favourite bistro for lunch and dinner right now. 📍𝗕𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗞𝗮𝗶 🥩🍔 I've been gushing about Bistro Kai to anyone that will listen. I think this bistro is one of Sydney/Chatswood's best gems. The drinks are impeccable, the service is delightful and the food is damn-near perfect. This review is a higlights package of two visits - both of which received perfect scores from me. On the table: Kingfish Crudo Special Clam Pasta Pork Tomahawk Sticky Date Pudding Burger (only available at lunch now) (previous visit) Wagyu chuck tail flap (previous visit) Our most recent stop yielded their latest menu and like always, it was a blast. Starting off with the kingfish special, this crudo was amazing, thick cuts, robust texture and lots of flavour. Next up we got the clam pasta. Al dente pasta, an irresitable shellfish sauce and bountiful clam pieces. Without a doubt one of the best pasta dishes this year. We got the pork chop main one one occassion and my word, think tender charsiu pork chop with lots of fat. Decadent and wrong but in all the right ways. It would be remiss without mentioning their famous burger. Holy hell this is so good. It's only available for lunch at the moment and the burger itself is worth pilgramage. Medium rare, juicy, saucy. So good. In a previous visit we got the wagyu. It was outrageously yummy. Melt in your mouth texture and for $59, this is criminally good value. If you love fries, these nori fries are just magical.
