just a reminder that there are like a LOT of people who played undertale and deltarune just for fun without looking much into it who dont know about gaster. some might have even got one of the fun value easyer eggs but they might have just brushed it off as "gameplay"

Papyrus is the one behind the tree. On one of the merch items, a bag. There is trees. One of the trees is identical to the one we get the egg from. And on the bag Papyrus waves to us from behind it. The man behind the tree is forgotten. Papyrus when checked during the genocide route is "forgettable". During the date fight one of the ui's that pop is a literal egg.
