Aventurine remained standing nearby until the door clicked shut, leaving them completely alone. He glanced back at the unknowing Veritas, a smirk tugging at his lips before walking over with deliberate steps. Dr. Ratio feels physical contact. He lowers the book and spots Aventurine—who—without a word—sank smoothly to his knees right in front of the doctor, uncrossing the man's legs and pressing himself into Ratio's now spread thighs. Before he could utter a word, Aventurine speaks up. "Allow me to make you an offer, one you can't refuse," he purred, his voice low and honeyed. Dr. Ratio's eyes narrowed, but he didn't kick the gambler off him, despite having the strength to. "I accept," he replied, "as would any man." Aventurine let out a soft, surprised laugh. "Hah.." Ratio places his book on the neighboring table. He hand slides down to grip Aventurine's chin firmly. "Get serious," he growled, thumb pressing against Aventurine's lower lip. "I have no time for games." The gambler's breath hitched at the touch, but his eyes gleaned with disobedience and mischief. He leaned into the grip instead of pulling away. "Why not, doctor?" he whispered sweetly, almost innocent—but they knew the implications of his words. He let his gloved hands lightly trail along the doctor's thighs. Veritas' jaw clenched, he lets go of Aventurine as he exhaled sharply. The blond could only let out an amused laugh. "Hmph.
