@dr.kavita.t: Replying to @J when we say you can’t over feed a baby - we mean medically you won’t cause harm by giving your baby more milk than they can handle but it is possible to over feed a baby! If they have more fluids than their stomach can handle and process it will have to come back out! Please speak to your doctor if concerned!! #Breastfeeding #pumpingmom #vomiting #postpartum #baby

I absolutely love this explanation. It’s so important that moms know it’s not causing disease!

My newborn gained 2 lbs in 2 weeks 😅 My midwife said we can cut back on giving him the breast and look at other methods if he needs soothing; finger or pacifier etc

The breasts are also an organ like any other. Unfortunately mine are over producing milk and I am experiencing OMER. I’m power washing my poor baby 😭

My newborn son was what the MCHN called a ‘happy chucker’. He would GORGE himself cluster feeding then do a huge spew (and then have to feed again cos he’d empty his stomach). Just learnt when to cut him off and use the dummy so he wouldn’t over do it. Gained weight well, happy baby, eventually grew out of it. He just loved the boobie milk 😂
