@ahappyspell: I grew up in a village. So, literally, when I was a kid, I had the full access to be in the nature when I needed. We had a huge rock next to our house back then and I remember once I sat on a chair like a carving on the rock and ate a fruit bowl like royalty. I used to think that this is my kingdom and the great treasure hidden under this rock would be mine someday. (I had a huge imagination from such a young age.🤭) My point is, being in the nature was just the norm back then. I didn't feel anything special about that. Many years later, after completed studies and started working, I usually had to work in front of a screen. Like the rest of our generation, I am also glued to my tiny little devices like mobile phones. But, growing up, one-day I discovered some Youtube channels with Celtic music and those videos were closely connected with the nature. I found the beauty in peace, calmness, and loneliness through those videos. It feels so peaceful to be alone sometimes, rather than following all the others opinions. I sometimes set my screens aside, and sit with nature without doing anything and for me now it's the best feeling ever. I feel so grateful, when there's a wide spread greenery, rustling sounds of the wind, and the chirping sounds of tiny birds. Can't be thankful enough for the for the fresh air I am breathing. I feel since I love the nature, it will love me back and protect me from any disastrous event. Baddagana wetlands park is one of the well maintained place to be in nature to capture a breath away from your daily hustle and bustle. The good thing is, it is located within Colombo. These pictures were captured during my last visit with friends.
