Fermented Pineapple Skin Tea This drink is inspired by Guyanese Pine drink and Mexican Tepache de Piña both using the skin of pineapple. Comment “Pineapple” for Free Fermentation Guide * Skin and Core from 1 large pineapple (Peels + Core) * 6-8 cups water (room temperature) * 1 cinnamon stick * 1 TBSP fresh ginger (chopped or grated) * 1 whole nutmeg (optional) * 2-4 cloves Thoroughly wash your pineapple skin Add add ingredients above to large jar or jug and cover. Store in a cool dark place for 3-5 days- until liquid is cloudy and bubbles start to form.
