Yes! Absolutely! I am over the moon about the decision. My son is only two and the fact that he will be unable to have access to social media when he is older is a huge relief!

Brilliant, I'm really happy about it, my girl is 10, she's desperate for a phone because all her mates have one, not given in yet but I'll feel more comfortable knowing she can't access social media x

I fully support it! The world is scary enough as it is, but to be potentially influenced by online content makes it scarier, I think it will help reduce cyber bullying too, my daughter only got her first phone 8 months ago at 11 and that’s only so we can build trust between one another with it, ready for her to start high school in September

No, it will be more dangerous , you can still control their access and educate them properly, banning it will make it worse, it’s about your parenting , there is also a bigger picture here

I think its such a good thing! but i have a few howevers - i was a teen mum so i couldn’t imagine being 14/15/16 with no one to look upto or support it’s tricky. And the over 16’s apparently 16-18 will have a curfew of 8:30pm so these people could have children, drive, vote etc etc and have a curfew? it just seems abit odd. And youtube i think can be helpful for revison etc but i know theres also some weird stuff on there so its such a hard choice.
