XPeng just switched on the world's first automated production line built for high order humanoid robots, and its flagship robot, IRON, completed final assembly and walked off the line on its own power. No teleoperation, no manual guidance, just a machine finishing itself. IRON runs on three Turing AI chips delivering twenty two hundred fifty TOPS of onboard compute, seventy six degrees of freedom through its body, and twenty one in a single hand alone, numbers that put it ahead of anything else currently shipping in the humanoid robotics space. More than eighty percent of the core manufacturing process is now automated, built on the same car grade consistency standards XPeng already uses for its electric vehicles. Mass production starts by the end of this year, beginning inside XPeng's own stores and campuses, with a full commercial launch across China and international markets targeted for twenty twenty seven. The robotics division just closed a funding round worth more than nine hundred million dollars at a valuation north of six point three billion dollars, the largest single raise any Chinese humanoid robotics company has landed.
