@purelychickens: Not ideal, but not a huge issue. We have a lot of opossums and a lot of raccoons. The raccoons are more dangerous! These guys are slow and just foraging for chicken feed. Of course they can still hurry your chickens if they wanted to but it’s not very common. When my chickens free range I close up the coop after bed time. The auto door closes after they go to bed so they are safe :) #bantamchickens #opposum #possum #coop #chickencoop
