This is kind of the exact opposite of my experience. Lol I’ve always had really excellent service there at Carmel and Broadripple, I just don’t think the food is all that great. That said, I do absolutely love your quiche and something about their baguette and butter asked, but not enough to get me there regularly. More like if someone else wants to go, I’ll go and get those items. I generally skip the cake altogether.

Only been there once, they were very nice. Food was ok, the millionaire chocolate cake was wonderful. I would go again. I would like to try afternoon tea.

emailed them for prices on cookie boxes back in bthe day when they only had the Broad Ripple spot and they replied, "Let us know when you have the lobster." idk what that meant but it felt like they were calling me poor for asking for prices. Never gave them any business after that.

Agree. They make you sign a contract for afternoon tea. It's also difficult to get through to try to make a reservation for afternoon tea. I can have a reservation for tea at the Ritz in London with a few keystrokes.

I used to live super close to the Carmel location. The food has never been good, and certainly not worth the price. I used to tell people visiting from out of town to skip the food and just go for dessert. The cake and desserts have always been good. The interior is gorgeous too. Its been about a year since I have been there so not sure if the quality has dropped off or not.
