to early upgrade on every carrier I have had, you have to pay it down to 250-300 left, so you still need to pay like 500+ to get to the early upgrade option.

Cannot speak for all carriers but I know the one I work for does not allow early upgrades for Boyd so you’d have to buy one from the carrier and most carrier phones nowadays come with a 90 day device lock contract which means even if paid in full you can’t take that device to a competitor for 90 days

And they take your trade in, put it in a bag and drop it into a lockbox that only one person has access to. So, you can’t return the old phone to the carrier.

Just stopped working for tmobile call center your on hold for a long time because 9/10 the lead doesn't want to take the call oh and your bill randomly goes up every month watch for hidden fees

They take the $1300 phone back when you early upgrade, now you get a crappy phone. Now you got a new installment with a different carrier. Nothing changed.

that doesn't makes sense. you just switched carriers first then send the old phone back. its simple as that. as long as you return it they won't charge you for it.
