Hey friend this is worth an ER visit! It's not urgent but they are there to do needed medication refills. Also ask the pharmacist if they can contract to another pharmacy somewhere in your town. This is important for you I can tell, you have made immense progress and a system failure is not worth losing all you have built for yourself! Please reach out to your mental health resources they should be able to help you sort this out🫶

maybe call some other pharmacies to see if they have it in stock - if they do, ask them to request a prescription transfer from your current one so you can get and not have to wait. You can always transfer it back after.

Also schizoaffective. the fact they didnt have any backup plans for you or any safety plans other then "come back later" is a big show of why the medical system is broken. If you can, stick with a buddy for the week. Someone you trust.

I can't believe the pharmacy messed up, it's like the most important thing about being a pharmacist. You should go out of your way to make a big deal about it and have them get your medication now . I would be shocked if your medication isn't available somewhere in your city. I understand the importance of medication. I'm on duloxatine for ADHD, anxiety and depression. It has been the best thing I've ever done for myself getting on medication and the withdrawal is the worst thing I've gone through medically . I am not a good person and feel horrible without it and don't ever not want to be on my medication.

I am so sorry this is happening. I took seroquel for 20 years. When I stopped it was very difficult for we as well. Even now 6 years later. However, I developed tardive diskenesia and a vocal tic from that medicine and I rather not take it ever again.
