Save this post so you can come back and make it yourself 💛 The ultimate bacon maple jam 🥓🍯 Ingredients: - 250g finely chopped smoky streaky bacon - 2 finely diced brown onions - 1 minced clove of garlic - 1 tbsp brown sugar - 1 tbsp maple syrup - 1 tbsp balsamic glaze - 1 tbsp Pepper & Me’s Baple Macon seasoning (the secret ingredient!) Method: 1. Start by frying your bacon over a medium heat until crispy. 2. Remove the bacon from the pan but keep about a tbsp of the bacon fat in the pan. Add in your onions and cook until golden and jammy (about 10 minutes). Add the garlic in the last minute. 3. Add in your Baple Macon seasoning, brown sugar, maple sryrup, balsamic glaze and your bacon back in. 4. Turn the heat down to low and let it bubble away for roughly half an hour until it’s thick, glossy and dark. 5.
