I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart hurts for you. I have had a lot of loss in my life and when I lost my mom I didn't know how to comfort my young children. So I created a story that everytime we see the sunshine that's her giving us a a warm hug. Everytime it rains it's her crying bc she misses us too, that we will keep asking her for signs. This was actually a coping mechanism for me as well and I was so thankful my children can associate different feelings of grief through examples of how they coul understand it.

If this doesn't bring one tear to your eyes, I honestly don't know what will. This is truly heartbreaking to watch. Hearing about a parent taking on their own grief and their child's grief at the same time is one thing, but to see it is another.
