@makingadifferenceinug: It was a very busy and rewarding day for our Medical Outreach Team in Nakigalala, Muffene Village as we provided healthcare services to a large number of community members. Many patients were screened and treated for various illnesses and diseases. We recorded a high number of positive malaria cases, and every patient diagnosed with malaria received anti-malaria medication along with a mosquito net to help protect their families from future infections. We were also delighted to support many expectant mothers who were 8 months pregnant and above by providing Mama Kits to help them prepare for safe and safe deliveries. Days like this remind us how important medical outreach services are in underserved communities.
