Probably be OK. There are variables however you have the load from the wall itself. Is the wall going to the roof or you have a bearing trust above that to take the load off the wall?

Yes. Ledger takes load to the wall and header. Wall doesn’t load ledger since ledger not as stiff as deformation in studs and header. - Florida PE

No definitely even when framing light gauge, interior steel stud.You must have a box beam above over forty inches if you're under forty inches , you don't need it

im not an engineer, but I am a framer. I do think its needed. the load path from the joist goes to the ledger, then down the studs. how i see it, the load path is essentially the same as if it was bearing directly on top the window, since the weight of each joist follows the stud down and over the window. love your content, have a great day!

I'm not an engineer. I'm not even a lowly builder. Since the ledger is holding up the floor joists, why would the wall below need a header to carry the load of the floor joists? The header is a waste of time, materials, and money.
