Sorry about the mouth sounds I haven’t brushed my teeth fellas
Does being saved by faith mean you are guaranteed entry into the Kingdom of God? Many people think: “I have my sins forgiven, so I must enter heaven.” But have you really considered: Did Jesus actually say this Himself? Does the Bible truly teach this? Regarding who can enter the Kingdom, Jesus has given a very clear answer. First, forgiveness of sin does not mean a person has been freed from sin. Jesus was crucified for us, forgiving our sins—this is God’s great grace. Yet we must also face the reality: Many who have believed in God for years still live under the bondage of sin. John 8:34 (KJV) says: “Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” Forgiveness of sin is God’s grace to us. But God’s will is not only to forgive our past, He also wants to lead us away from sin, and to live a new life. Second, the standard for entering the Kingdom is not just belief, but obedience to God’s will. Jesus says in Matthew 7:21 (KJV): “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Notice: It is those who do the Father’s will. True faith is not just verbally acknowledging Jesus, but allowing God’s Word to transform your life. Third, God desires not just forgiveness, but a transformed person. Many believe in God for blessings and peace. But when His Word points out our issues, are we willing to repent? When blessings stop, are we still willing to praise Him? A true lover of God does not just receive grace, but is willing to be corrected, to understand themselves through God’s Word, and allow God to change their heart. So today, ask yourself: Do I believe in God just for blessings? Or am I willing to let God truly transform my life? If you want to learn how to truly overcome the bondage of sin, and prepare for the return of the Lord Jesus, you are invited to join our online Bible study group. There, we study God’s Word together, discover paths to life transformation, and understand God’s will for people.
