This is exactly the problem. Most people don’t think beyond becoming famous or making money. They don’t think about community, impact, or the people who support them.
It’s the same thing we see in politics. Before elections, politicians learn the right things to say because they want people to trust them and vote for them. They follow a template that attracts people. But after they win, they go back to their real intentions.
That’s why so many people get disappointed. The promises were never truly part of their vision; they were just a strategy to get into power. Once they get there, their focus becomes themselves, their families, their interests, and their pockets.
When leadership is driven by self-interest instead of service, the people suffer. Whether it’s insecurity, poverty, or other challenges, those in power often don’t feel the urgency because they are benefiting from a system that isn’t working for ordinary people.
Real leadership and real influence should be about building people and serving a community, not just gaining status, money, or power.
