The world welcomes a new Islamic year, but the lovers of Imam Hussain (AS) enter a season of grief, reflection, and remembrance. The black flags are raised, the lights are dimmed, and every corner echoes with the pain of a tragedy that time could never heal. This moon reminds us of the thirst of the children, the loneliness of Bibi Zainab (SA), the bravery of Hazrat Abbas (AS), the sacrifice of Ali Akbar (AS), and the unwavering stand of Imam Hussain (AS) against oppression. More than thirteen centuries have passed, yet the sorrow of Karbala remains as fresh as ever. Every tear shed in these days is a testimony that the message of Karbala lives on in our hearts. As we welcome Muharram 1448 AH, may we not only mourn the tragedy of Karbala but also carry its lessons of faith, patience, justice, and sacrifice into our lives.
